We've simplified our baggage policy across the network, including simplifying our excess bag rates.
The charges stated below are based on per bag/piece, per one way journey. If your flight is operated by an Air New Zealand partner airline, you will need to check the rates with the airline operating the service.
For international travel the checked baggage allowance is one piece for Economy, two pieces Premium Economy and three pieces Business free (up to 50lbs each piece).
