Companion Tickets
When you book a paid ticket on an Air New Zealand operated international flight, you can use your Airpoints Dollars™ to take a companion with you at a special reduced rate by buying them a Companion ticket*.

You can request a companion ticket up to 355 days in advance, but remember to book your own paid ticket first. To make your companion ticket booking, contact your nearest Airpoints Service Centre. Applicable service fees apply. Please note: Availability is limited and companion seats may not be available on some flights during peak periods.
Please note: Companion tickets are not available in conjunction with Smart Saver fares, Airpoints award tickets, travel industry fares, prize/promotion tickets and upgrades.
